Nummy Dal with Kolhapuri Cooking Sauce

- Chana Dal 1/4 cup (washed)
- Red Lentils - 1/2 cup (washed)
- 1 jar Kolhapuri Cooking Sauce
- 1 jar water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 onion chopped
- Cumin seeds
- Chopped cilantro
Step 1: Add the lentils and the liquids into the Instantpot
Step 2 : Close lid and turn on the Pressure Cook mode and timer to 8 minutes
Step 3 : Vent the pressure naturally for 10 minutes and then vent manually.
For Garnish : In a small pan heat oil. Add cumin seeds and wait for them to release their aroma. Then, add chopped onions and sauté until caramelized.
Pour the cumin & caramelized onion over the dal and garnish with chopped cilantro.
Serve with rice or naan. Yummmy!
