"Fire & Ice" with Mexicano Spicy Peanut Condiment – nummy nibbles

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Mexicano Gourmet Peanut Condiment 

1 Tablespoon chopped peanuts or almonds

1 Teaspoon Chocolate shavings for topping

2 scoops of All-natural Vanilla Ice cream OR

Make your own ice cream with ingredients below:

6 egg yolks

6 oz Sugar

1 pint Milk (Whole or low fat)

1 pint Heavy Cream

2 tsp Vanilla (or 2 vanilla beans with seeds scraped out)

Pinch of Salt

Directions:

For Ice cream:

Combine the egg yolks with sugar. Whisk until thick and light.

Scald the milk (heat milk until bubbles start appearing all around the edges of the milk). Slowly beat the milk into the egg mixture. Now heat this mixture in a double boiler, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. Remove from heat and stir in the cold cream to the mixture. Add the vanilla and salt.

Refrigerate the mixture overnight. Make into ice cream in an ice cream maker.

Take 2 scoops of ice cream. Drizzle Mexicano gourmet peanut condiment on top. Add the chopped peanuts and chocolate shavings.
